Many of you have been involved at the grassroots level, gathering boxes to send to children around the world with the message of true hope in Christ. Earlier this year YES! co-founder Judy Wick was blessed to travel with Samaritan's Purse to the jungles of Guyana in South America to witness firsthand the distribution of these boxes to children---along with discipleship classes in session that began with these gifts of Christmas boxes.
Between these two amazing points, the Operation Christmas Child boxes land at processing centers at eight locations throughout the United States to ensure the boxes are carefully inspected and ready for overseas shipment. In addition to the gifts, these boxes go out with colorful literature to guide children in their walk with Jesus.
YES! is partnering with the Southern California (West Coast) processing center in Orange County: 2722 Michelson Drive, Irvine, CA 92612.
For the first time YES! will be enlisting the help of 25 volunteers for three separate morning shifts for the first three days of December 2016. Each shift will have an orientation available and will run from 9 AM to 1 PM daily.
You are invited to sign up for one to three shifts, based on your physical capacity and time constraints. Unless arranged separately through your church or other group, you will be on your own for food, transportation and lodging.
For other locations and/or time slots, please connect directly with Operation Christmas Child. Other locations are Baltimore/Washington, Boone (NC), Charlotte, Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Minneapolis, and Denver.
Space through YES! is limited, so please request your sign-up invitation now:
