Let's take time to declutter our minds. Praying we each can find a moment today to take a deep breath and focus our thoughts. As God helps guide our thoughts, we in turn can love Him and others with a renewed mind and a pure heart. Say the verse above out loud. Breathe in again His precious Spirit. Read or quote the verse once more. SO healing for our weary minds.

Sometimes the ordinary gets lost in the social media hustle. We can unwittingly put a price tag on people who are influencers, have huge followings, or get a zillion "likes" for anything they post.

Then there are those who have never written a book, hosted a podcast, spoken to a large group, or sung to the masses. They may not even be on social media. But when you meet them - you just want your friends to know them too. There's something really special about them...actually 'influencers' in their own right, shining Jesus' light in their corner of the world.

Every other Wednesday we'll feature such a woman. In the next women connect, you'll get to meet Anh (Ann). I think you're going to like her. ☺

thankful

We'll save this space to let others know of something we are grateful for. We know there are SO many needs and hurts to pray about. We also know our Heavenly Father loves our praise. In this space let's share things we're thankful for. Big or small. It's grateful hearts that matter!

Today I'm thankful for the life-giving friendships I have in my local church.

And for coffee.

The Apostle Paul in Romans 3:23 wrote "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". Everyone.

But John 3:16 assures us "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." Whoever. He only asks us to BELIEVE IN HIM.
