What Is YES!?

Young Enough to Serve (YES!) exists to inspire older adults to live transformed, fruitful lives for Christ—side by side with every generation.

In a world that often sidelines seniors, YES! helps older adults rediscover their value and purpose in God’s kingdom. Through encouragement, discipleship, and meaningful opportunities to serve, we’re seeing adults in life’s second half re-engage with joy, confidence, and bold faith.

To reach adults in life’s second half with the hope of Christ, empowering them to live with purpose through discipleship and service across generations.

Why This Matters

Older adults are the fastest-growing population in the U.S.—and often the most spiritually overlooked. Many feel disconnected, undervalued, or unsure of how they fit into the life of the church.

YES! exists to change that narrative.

We believe older adults are capable, teachable, and essential to the body of Christ. They have wisdom to offer, time to give, and faith worth sharing. YES! comes alongside individuals and churches to help older adults live out that calling with renewed clarity and joy.

How We Help

YES! empowers older adults—and the churches that support them—through five key areas of ministry:

1. Reaching Older Adults

We bring the Gospel and the message of YES! into senior living communities, gathering places, and one-on-one conversations—helping adults reconnect with hope, joy, and spiritual purpose.

2. Creating Co-Generational Opportunities

We help churches and leaders create opportunities for discipleship and service between generations, including One Saturday Morning gatherings and service trips like Gleanings for the Hungry.

3. Highlighting Older Adults Who Are Living It

We tell stories through our Living YES! newsletter and Young Enough podcast that spotlight older adults living out their calling in vibrant and creative ways.

4. Providing Tools & Support

We walk with churches and leaders who want to strengthen their senior adult ministry—offering mentoring, discipleship resources, and our “Half Two” training.

5. Raising Up Local Leaders

We invest in older adults who feel called to start YES!-style ministry where they live, including through a national support call for senior ministry leaders.
