After 'retiring' at age 68, Lars pushed naysayers aside who implied that his future was behind him. The prophetic words of Joel helped re-fire him: "Your old men will dream dreams."

In his dreams Lars saw so many needs and wonderful opportunities for people of all ages to serve. He and his intergenerational team have taken quick and decisive action to fulfill those dreams---rallying support to help churches in Ukraine, Uganda, Burma, India and Nepal.
What an inspiration to see Lars serving so vigorously in his later years! Knowing that his time is short, he allows his God-birthed enthusiasm and sense of urgency to spill over to others.
